SINAIA RAILWAY STATION
The first railway station was built in 1913 by the “Demeter Cartner” Company and the second a little bit later and it was dedicated exclusively to the royal family use and to its guests, meaning foreign state rulers. On the Sinaia railway station platform, there is a memorial plate to remember of I GH. Duca, Romanian Prime Minister assassinated by the legionnaires in the year 1933 in that very spot. It is an important railway station where at the beginning of the last century trains as Orient Express and Arlberg Express used to stop. details
